Welcome to today's episode of Reflective Hour. I'm Tammy Toney-Butler, your host. But we all know who the host of this show is, and that's Jesus by way of his Holy Spirit. And today's episode is a powerful one. It's one that reminds us of who's we are in Christ Jesus of how much we've overcome to get where we are today to be sitting here in this place of peace, protection, and be loved. Be loved beyond measure, unconditionally.

Loved, accepted. We've arrived at this place of belonging because we know our true identity in Christ Jesus.

Jesus sees us when we weep.

He hears us when we call out. He's with us in every storm we face. We may not always can see him. Our pain threatens to overcome us and we question whether Jesus is in our boat at all, whether he's with us. We cry out with no answers. But all we have to do is look to the word of God. And what does it say in John 11? 32 Now when Mary came to where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet, saying to him, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died." When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in his spirit and greatly troubled. And he said, "Where have you laid him?" They said to him, "Lord, come and see." Jesus wept. Jesus wept. So we look at that again. John 11:35.

Jesus wept.

We have a merciful, compassionate savior. A savior

that took 39 stripes was beaten, bruised for our inequity, for our sin. And we have a father, Aba Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our precious Lord Jesus, that sent his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16,

he sent Jesus, his only son, so that we could have life. What father does that, but a good father? And he's with you now in your storm. You can't always see him. You may not feel him. At times you feel like you call out and you can't discern that still small voice and you're like, "How much longer is this going to go on, God? How much longer until I'm healed? How much longer until my son or daughter comes back home that are out on the streets? How much longer, God, until you erase this mountain of debt, God? How much longer, God, till you open that door and I get that job? How much longer, God, do I have to wait until you birth that ministry? How much longer, God? How much longer do you hear me when I cry, God? Do you see me, God? I'm crushed, God. Are you with me, God? But I promise you, he's there. He's with you every step of the way. All you have to do is believe it and trust him. Trust in him. Trust in the word of God and know that your savior wept.

And he knows what it's like to weep. And he knows the heartbreak behind the weeping. And he sees your heartbreak now. How you've lost a loved one. Have you lost a son, a daughter, an animal, something that's close to you? He sees it. He's with you. We're flesh. We all fall short of the glory of the Lord. But it's in his strength that we overcome. It's in his strength. Look at Isaiah 40:31.

Oh, look at Isaiah 40:31. We run. We run. We run. We run and not grow weary. We walk and not faint. We soar like an eagle. Everything you need to overcome the enemy, to overcome this moment of despair, of hopelessness. of depression, of loss is found through the word of God. So you speak to that mountain, Mark 11:22-2, and you cast it into the sea. And you speak to that storm and you say, "Peace, be still, for I know the plans you have for me. Plans to prosper me and keep me. Give me a hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. And I choose this day to anchor on the rock, the cornerstone, Christ Jesus.

And I breathe life over my situation, life over my finances,

life. If I speak life and I let his peace that surpasses all understanding overtake me now

erasing away all doubt, all despair and knowing by his stripes you were healed. Healing is your portion. Healing is my portion.

By his stripes, you were healed. You've been healed. You've been made whole. Complete with nothing missing. Nothing missing. You are whole. You're whole. You're complete. You're healed. Walk in it. Walk in his power. Walk in his might this day and every day. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus.
