Welcome to today's episode of Reflective Hour. I'm Tammy Toney-Butler, your host and healing evangelist. We all know who the host of this show is. And that's Christ. Christ is in us, working through us, bringing us into all truth by his spirit. The spirit of Christ, the spirit of God, the Holy Spirit that lives inside of us as believers, as children of the Almighty God, welcome you in this time that we have together. And I pray that you gain fresh insight and wisdom as you attack this day and go about the father's business. So I ask you this day, who sets your clock? Is it God or is it man? Who sets your clock? Do you wake up rushing about
going about
task things of this world that are passing away, fleeting?
Or do you set your eyes
the internal time clock of your heart
on everlasting things, things that'll never pass away. Do you get alone with the Lord? Say, "Father, what's your will for me today? How can I serve you this day? How can I serve you this day? What can I do for the kingdom of God? Who can I minister to? Where can I go? You order my steps.
So order my steps now. Let me never be blinded by the fast pace of this world, by man's timing. Let me never be blinded by the deception of the enemy. Things that come to kill, steal, destroy, and distract. Ne Let me never be blinded and walk based on emotions or feelings. Let me only be guided and led by the spirit of God.
Let me only be led by the spirit of God.
Are you spiritled or are you man led? Do emotions guide you? Fear, people pleasing, a need for love, acceptance, belonging, a relationship. Can you lay everything aside and seek God and wait on that opportunity, that door to open? Wait patiently on an answer. Endure that trial. Perhaps he is speaking to you, but you're not listening or you're in rebellion. Are you walking about
setting your clock to accomplish things that man deems are important? Are you focusing on eternal things? Because remember, you're not of this world. You were you were born again
into the kingdom of God. You are not of this world. You set your eyes on heavenly pursuits, on eternal things. Store your treasures up in heaven
where they're not destroyed by moth.
Are you focusing on earthly things
or are you truly following the Holy Spirit?
Who's setting your clock?
Your alarm clock. Are you clocking in for Jesus or are you clocking in for man?
How do you even know? I was staring at the lake this morning. There was a foggy haze coming from it. Fish were jumping and I was reminded of God's beautiful creation.
Life can sometimes be foggy, hazy. You can be unsure of which way to go or where to turn. How do you clear away that fog and bring clarity into your life? How do you know what direction to take? How do you know what God's perfect timing is? What his perfect will is for your life? How do you know what's required of being a kingdom ambassador? How do you know what to do? What is God's will for your life? How do you know?
You set your eyes on heavenly things. You get into the word of God. You marinate in it. Soak yourself in it until you become it until you're walking around as the temple of Jesus carrying him where he needs to go. Being about kingdom business. For everything there is a season. To everything there is a season. Are you in the center of God's will, perfectly aligned with his perfect timing?
Can you discern the time, the heavenly time, eternal, everlasting time,
eternity has no end.
God's love will never pass away.
His love will never pass away. Things of this world pass away, but the kingdom of God doesn't pass away. Our goal as Christians is to be about father's business, bringing the kingdom of heaven to earth. Are you about father's business? Are you about fleshly things?
Who's your clock set to?
When you look at the time, you do you look through a heavenly perspective? Are you following and obeying the spirit?
Are you obeying man? We have to ask oursel these questions. Now more than ever, we must be unified as a body of believers. We must be unified and be about father's business. We must be spiritled, not led by man, not led by emotions, feelings. We have to only be led by the spirit of God.
If you need clarity where there's confusion, pray in the spirit, just start praying in tongues in your prayer language.
Let spirit speak to spirit. communicate
with a purification process that happens when you communicate directly
to God through the Holy Spirit. Spirit speaking to spirit. No interference with the world. Flesh is out of it.
Get yourself edified and built up.
Bring yourself back to the place where God needs you to be in this season. Focused, focused, focused. Being about heavenly things, eternal things everlasting, and not the pleasures of this world. There is a great harvest out there. But will you humble yourselves? Get yourself out of the way and let God do what he's trying to do in and through you
for the sake of the kingdom of God or are you getting in the way? Is your flesh getting in the way? We have to ask oursel these questions. Look inward.
see if we're clocking in for Jesus or clocking in for man.
Psalm 1438 says, "Call me to hear thy loving kindness in the morning, for in thee do I trust. Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk. For I lift up my soul unto thee.
Psalm 55:22. Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee. He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Set your eyes on Jesus, on the Holy Spirit. Let it guide you into all truth.
Go and prosper this day being about kingdom things, God's will and not your own. Submit and surrender. Come under the lordship of Jesus
and walk abundantly in all he has for you. and walk abundantly in all he has for you. Walk abundantly in all he has for you. That's today's episode of Reflective Hour with Tammy Tony Butler.
