Stuck

Stuck. How many of you are stuck? Stuck in the mud. Can't go forward. Can't go backwards. You're rocking. You're trying to generate the right movement, the right momentum, the right amount of power to break you free. Free from that obstruction that's blocking your path and keeping you from breaking into all God has for you. You can see in the distance where you need to be. The weeds you need to cut out, cut down, but you just can't seem to get there. To get there, you're just stuck. You're just stuck and nothing you're doing is working. You're trying everything

and then in one moment you realize you're threatening, you're worrying. It's not going to get you anywhere. It's just not. You realize that you got to get off the tractor of your life. Get down. Get messy

and search for the obstruction, the hindrance to you moving forward. To you moving forward. to you moving forward. And you may have to take a step back to free yourself from the obstruction by looking back at the past, looking back at what caused you to get stuck in the first place. But you don't stay there because you can see the work you still need to do. You can see the destination, but you just don't know how to get there. So, you get down off the tractor, get in the mud, and you start digging. You just start digging. And that's what you got to do with healing. You just sometimes got to get in the dirt and dig and dig and dig and uncover that rock that's stopping you from moving forward

and breaking free. But you don't do it in your own strength. you realize, wait a minute, I'm not who I was when I started this journey. I'm not who I was when I got on this tractor of life. I'm a different person now. I was wounded and broken, but I'm not that way now because Christ set me free. I'm actually empowered. Actually, I don't have fear because perfect love casts out all fear. I have Jesus. I have joy. I have peace. And I have praise. So you sit there in the dirt and the mud and you ask God, "Where in the world do I start? How do I start to dig myself out of this pit that I've found myself in? I did it to myself. I didn't listen. I knew there was warnings, but I charged forward anyway because I wanted to get there in my own timing and my own strength. But God had other ideas. He wanted me to surrender completely, but also realize it doesn't matter if I got if I got stuck because no weapon form shall ever prosper and He's going to get me out and I'm not going to get broken any further. And when I'm done, I'm still going to look shiny and new because I I'm new. I'm a new creature in Christ. So I decide in that moment, I'm not going to fret. I'm not going to worry. I'm not going to worry if I have to make a call to a friend to get help to get myself out of the pit I'm in. I'm just going to let go. I'm going to let God and I'm going to surrender to the process. And when He shows me the rock, He shows me the obstruction, I'm going to listen to Him this time. I'm going to trust Him. I'm going to follow His instructions completely

so that I can make sure that obstruction is removed for good and I never get stuck again. Because I've learned this time. I've learned. And it's all right if I had to get even a little more dirtier than I already was and get into the mess and they muck. Yeah, I even got down in my feelings. But then I realized I don't go by my feelings. I go by God. I go by what His Word says. But I have the Holy Spirit living inside of me. The Spirit of the Almighty God. His Spirit leads me even if I'm on a tractor.

So He's with me if the sun's shining and I'm smooth sailing and He's with me when I'm stuck. But I just have to remember to invite Him into my mess. He's a gentleman. God will never force Himself upon us. We have free will. He made us to have free will because He's a loving God, a merciful God, and He wanted us to have a choice to follow Him and obey or to to not. But He's going to love us through the messes of our life and He's there with us. We just have to call out and ask Him to help us and say, "Holy Spirit, I'm stuck. I'm stuck in the mud and I need help to get out. So, I'm gonna trust You and I know You're going to help me dig my way out gently so as I don't damage

anything or the structure while I'm getting those rocks out.

And I trust You that You're going to help me this time. Do the work so I won't mess up. And this time is my last time of getting stuck in the mud cuz I'm going to listen. I'm going to surrender. I'm going to obey. And I'm going to trust. So I was stuck, but then I got free. And he who the Son sets free is free indeed. He who the Son sets free is free indeed.
